**We are currently seeking to add a Human Resources Administrator **to join our team**
**Job Type**:Full Time
**Position Summary**:
The primary role of the Human Resources Administrator is to provide administrative support for a wide range of KBL’s HR processes and projects.
This is a hybrid (to either Calgary or Leduc) position or work from home.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- General Administration
- Produces employment-related letters using templates, including offer letters and welcome packages as requested.
- Data entry and maintenance of the HRIS.
- Produces reports through the system, manipulating in excel as needed.
- Maintains the employee files and the HR shared files.
- Makes changes, as requested to policy documents.
- Assist with the administration of various HR programs. Including performance management, recognition and engagement
- Helps organize and plan employee events.
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Drafts and posts job postings.
- Books interviews as requested.
- May be asked to conduct initial phone interviews and represent KBL at recruitment events
- Conduct background checks through our vendor and reference check.
- Arrange for drug and alcohol and other testing as requested.
- Works with the hiring manager on logistics of onboarding - arranging space and equipment, PPE, booking initial meetings and orientations.
- Training
- Assists with logistics and planning for training sessions.
- Enters certifications into the system and assigns training to employees as required.
**Qualifications**:
- 1 year of experience as a Human Resources Administrator preferred.
- Post secondary education in Human Resource Management preferred.
- CPHR designation or in the process of pursuing is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of the Waste Management & Environmental industry is an asset.
- Ability to act with discretion and treat confidential information appropriately.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization skills and ability to multi task.
