We are seeking to add a full-time skilled Logistics Associate whose role will be assisting our Purchaser/Estimator and Production Manager in coordinating the workflow of the shop and assisting in administrative demands.

Full time position - Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm, overtime required as it arises to meet customer demands.
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Coordinate and prepare shipment documents for local and international orders
- Review receiving documents processed by the production staff to ensure accuracy through performing a three-way match on receiving documents, purchase orders and vendor bill
- Coordinating customer requests by providing updates on order status, compile and send required supporting documents and addressing any other concerns
- Liaising with vendors after an order has been placed by preparing summaries of outstanding purchase orders, requesting updates on outstanding purchase orders to ensure production remains on schedule and requesting other information as needed
- Compiling work order packages and drawings for production team
- Manage customer supplied drawings ensuring all required drawings are provided when an order is placed, ensuring the historical drawings in our database align with the provided revision numbers and drawings are properly filed in our database
- Preparing and sending invoices to customers through Jobboss2
- Entering vendor bills in Jobboss2
- Becoming proficient with our enterprise resource system, Jobboss2 and QuickBooks Online
- Ability to work in a team environment and willing to problem solve.
- Ability to communicate with team members, customers and vendors. You will be in direct contact with both parties daily and are required to be inviting, open to assist with their requests and address their concerns in a professional manner.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain
- Other requests as required

Competency/skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and experience working with suppliers.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
