Kitchen Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food and service. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to the success of our restaurant.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Manage kitchen staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
- Assist in the hiring and training of new kitchen staff members
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints related to the kitchen
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in all aspects of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes
Wage is negotiable with experience
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
