**Job Summary**:
ErinoakKids is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the communications team. Reporting to the Director, Communications, the Communication Coordinator will contribute to the strategic internal and external communications efforts of the organization, delivering on communications tactics across channels and supporting the team on a variety of ongoing and ad hoc marketing and communication projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develops and maintains content calendar;
- Shares ErinoakKids communications material across print, digital and social channels (print marketing assets, website, digital screens, and social channels);
- Contributes to strategic communication plans and implements tactics to support both internal and external communication needs;
- Coordinates the production and distribution of the internal staff newsletter;
- Contributes to department reporting, including daily media monitoring and social listening;
- Assists with various communications initiatives, including supporting events, as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary level education, and a minimum of one year experience in a field relevant to communications, public relations, marketing; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience in the health care sector is an asset;
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and logically. Familiarity with Canadian Press Style Guide is an asset;
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the capacity to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner;
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act proactively when faced with challenges and issues;
- Experience in developing and editing communication plans and collateral such as presentations, flyers, and social media posts;
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Office and Excel.
- Experience managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), knowledge of the Kentico CMS platform, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Analytics is an asset;
- Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, sound judgment and sensitivity in dealing with internal/external communities.
- Self-starter, comfortable with working remotely and onsite;
