Accounting Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team and take on the responsibility of managing our inventory. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient inventory management processes. If you have a passion for numbers, exceptional attention to detail, and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you
**Responsibilities include**:
- Inputting and maintaining units in the inventory database.
- Conducting account reconciliations for inventory and flooring.
- Reviewing, approving, paying out, and tracking consignments.
- Reviewing and processing manufacturer rebate programs.
- Maintaining purchase orders for all manufacturers.
- Processing US accounts payable.
- Processing new unit payouts.
- Providing backup support to Accounts Payable for posting CAD invoices and credit cards.
- Preparing periodic reports related to inventory.
- Ordering office supplies.
- Performing other duties as required.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized with superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong self-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues related to inventory management.
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably with inventory-related responsibilities (bonus).
**This position is based in Cobble Hill **and requires a reliable means of commuting to our location.

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
