Community Services Worker Instructor

Canadian Business College is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated instructor who has strong communication and interpersonal skills to teach the Community Services Worker program.

Responsibilities Include:

- Teach the program as per the approved curriculum
- Assist students in a variety of ways through lectures, workshops and computer-based training
- Help to coordinate student field placements
- Administer exams and grade students' assessments

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Solid understanding of diverse communities, the law and societal issues
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Someone with in depth and personal knowledge of social work practices and procedures and an ability to convey that information to students of varying backgrounds

Qualifications:

- 24 months of occupational community/ social work services; experience along with either: Any degree, diploma or certification in community/ social work services or related; 36 months of teaching experience in the field of community/ social work services; An additional 24 months of occupational experience in community/ social work services; or related
- Flexibility to teach at any campus location depending on demand

Start Date: Immediately

Location: Hybrid - online and in class

Hours: Monday
- Friday, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
