As Canada’s public arts funder, the Canada Council for the Arts (CCA) is a significant contributor to the vibrancy of a creative and diverse arts and literary scene. Through a variety of grants, services, prizes, and payments to Canadian artists and arts organizations, the Council works in close cooperation with federal, territorial, and provincial arts and cultural agencies, and supports Canadian artists, groups, and arts organizations from Coast to Coast to Coast.
Reporting to the Director and CEO, the Chief Information Officer provides executive vision and leadership in the development and oversight of the Council’s digital and technology strategy and roadmap, enterprise architecture, information management programs and initiatives, client relationships and cybersecurity. The CIO is called upon to identify, develop, and articulate strategic objectives and projects to address policy and process issues and improve the Council’s IT/IM/Cyber infrastructure and ensure its functional efficiency and effectiveness. The CIO participates in the development of broad management directions and is a key voice on the Council’s executive management team.
