- **Business Process Specialist
- Change Management**
- Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT OCM, this mid-level position is designed to support small to medium-scale projects, providing progressive experience in organizational change management. This position is responsible to collaborate with different departments to understand existing processes and document them accurately, to support program development and improvements.- Key accountabilities include providing recommendations to be an effective change agent to establish the long term viability of this work environment and be a key contributor to the divisional strategic and quality planning process.- This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where you will contribute to OPG’s public outreach, engagement and education efforts as part of the company’s commitment to growing its social license.**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Conduct stakeholder assessments to identify key individuals and groups impacted by the project and to analyze the effects of proposed changes on existing processes.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather information on stakeholder needs, concerns, and expectations, and work with project teams to assess the impact of changes on processes, roles, and responsibilities within the organization.
- Assist in the development of communication plans to ensure timely and effective dissemination of project-related information.
- Assist in the development of training materials for end-users impacted by process and technology changes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of change management activities, including plans, reports, and feedback.
- Identify and analyze sources of resistance to change and develop strategies to address and mitigate resistance.
- Provide direction on business process documentation and associated improvement programs. Be responsible for the development and maintenance of business process methods and documentation. Liaise with internal departments and other divisions, customer groups and stakeholder representatives, relative to business process and improvement programs.
- Create and maintain a work environment that motivates, supports and encourages staff to perform their assigned responsibilities in a professional, effective and efficient manner, consistent with the philosophy and goals of continuous quality improvement. Act as a coach and facilitator to create and sustain a non-threatening, supportive, team environment, actively working with staff to empower them to attain optimal work performance with a high level of personal responsibility and self-management. Provide change management leadership that promotes employee empowerment by acting as a role model for the values of openness and trust through the effective sharing of information, and by being visible and accessible to employees.
- Develop and coordinate the methods, processes and policies which govern how the business process programs are conducted. Promote the value of these programs as contributors to key effectiveness areas within the Business Unit strategic framework.
- Facilitate the identification of priority areas for business improvement and integration. Advise and assist in the development and implementation of business improvement plans.
- Develop and coordinate programs, as required, to address staff training needs in business process analysis and improvement methods and tools.
- Other duties as required

**EDUCATION**
- 4 years University in business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field
- Prosci Certification is an asset
