**Position**:
The **Partnership Development Specialist** is responsible to plan and deploy an engagement and outreach strategy for the Efficiency Preferred Partner Network, Associations, and Partners for E1. This will include planning and hosting relevant events and training for but not limited to Engineers, Consultants, and Architects. Must be an effective communicator, have excellent time management and organizational skills, and be adaptable and results-driven.

**A snapshot of what you will be involved with**:

- Providing outreach and engagement to the Efficiency Preferred Partner Network (EPP), Associations, and other E1 Partners to build industry capacity and drive participation in Efficiency Nova Scotia programs and services.
- Developing a partner engagement plan, providing education and training, and attending networking opportunities to strengthen EfficiencyOne/ Efficiency Nova Scotia’s reputation and raise awareness about our current and upcoming offerings.
- Finding new partnership opportunities while maintaining current network development.
- Proactively identifying opportunities for growth and improvement with the EPP Network internally with EfficiencyOne/ Efficiency Nova Scotia and externally with target markets.
- Developing opportunities with existing and new partners and building strategic relationships with associations.
- Expanding work with partners from diverse communities to reach underserved communities and increase program participation.
- Collaborating with Marketing and providing input to plans, offers, and collateral related to Partners.
- Facilitating a contractor appreciation program to ensure all contractors working with Efficiency Nova Scotia are aligned with the Preferred Partner network.
- Reporting back to Efficiency Preferred Partner Manager on-site visit information, new opportunities, and industry feedback.
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager Efficiency Preferred Partners
- Drive EPP Network growth and participation through outreach strategy in alignment with Programs and Business Development
- Perform all other duties as required.

**What Will Help You Succeed?**
- A Community College or University diploma in Communications, Marketing, PR, or Business-related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Knowledge and skills in business-to-business sales
- Ability to take on new opportunities and challenges, with a passion to continue to develop and grow
- Excellent client service skills (internal partners and customers), including working collaboratively or independently.
- A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value and drive the business
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and have
- Ability to prioritize deliverables and work independently or within a team

**What to expect in your first several weeks on the job**:

- Job shadow other teammates to learn about their roles and responsibilities.
- Read program materials to familiarize yourself with Efficiency Preferred Partner Network and our tools and processes.
