Reporting to the director of housekeeping, the housekeeping supervisor manages the daily operations of the department (check-in/check-out/group/vip) and ensures company standards are met. This person will work closely with the front desk and engineering department. As the industry is constantly changing, responsibilities for this position may change and evolve accordingly.
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise a team of workers
- Plan and assign tasks to employees
- Adjust schedules based on occupancy
- Manage inventory of cleaning and amenity products
- Ensure rules and procedures are followed (Atlific & Marriott standards)
- Participate in employee performance management
- Ensure the health and safety of staff
- Coordinate services with external companies/suppliers
- Supervise and coach employees
- Inspect rooms
- Participate in disciplinary process
- Ensure quality customer service and manage customer complaints

**Salary**
The salary for this position is $22 per hours. In addition to the base salary, this position includes benefits and preferred rates at all hotels owned by the Tidan group.
**Required qualifications**
- College diploma in hotel management, an asset
- 2 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry
- experience in a unionized environment is an asset
- fluent in both French and English
