**Job Summary**

Participates in and supports the operational activities of a business unit. Applies experience and complete working knowledge of the job and policies/practices to perform a combination of routine tasks and varied administrative/operational assignments.

**Please note**: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2024 placement with a start date of May 2024 and end-date of August 2024. In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:

- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2024; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April/August 2024), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

**What is the opportunity?**

You will work in a fast paced, collaborative team who supports 150 people. This team works with many stakeholders and leverages data from multiple sources of information to management and front-end staff have the best tools at their disposal to manage their business effectively.

For this internship opportunity, we are looking for an individual to take a lead role in management reporting. This includes but is not limited to working with partners in Finance, sales, credit and operations.

**What will you do?**
- Work with our team and other stakeholders to create customized management reports.
- Update existing content and create new for front-end sales staff.
- Present opportunities on how to improve current management reports

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program. Engineering / math / computer science students are preferred.
- Strong written/oral communication skills to develop and present thoughtful and insightful explanations
- Proven competence/comfort level with building and organizing data.
- Ability to problem solve complex problems and take ownership to finding solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Attention to detail and time management is critical

**Nice-to-have**
- Previous exposure to financial services industry
- Proficiency in Excel
