**Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX**:
As the Project Specialist
- Sourcing, you will represent Arc’teryx Sourcing business needs in identifying and implementing technology and business solutions as required. In this role, you will represent the supply chain functions and will be responsible to provide department specific needs, coordinate departmental work for the project, provide input on whether proposed solutions meet needs, and then coordinate implementation of the new solution(s).

The Project Specialist - Sourcing will work with a cross-functional group whose focus is to deliver best-in-class solutions to support Arc’teryx Strategic Business Goals.

**If you were the Project Specialist - Sourcing now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:
- Supporting the overall business readiness for projects and initiatives
- Identifying where there are gaps between business requirements and proposed solutions, and leading the evaluation of ways to address those gaps
- Defining the business requirements for your business area within scope of responsibility, and other supporting tools, and assisting other departments in defining theirs
- Documenting the current and future state of business processes affected by identified projects and initiatives
- Identifying operational changes between current and future state, including new required processes
- Acting as the point of contact for all other departments involved to drive a common business design and data consistency
- Ensuring best practices and process optimization are built at the design stage
- Conveying the end-state consistently to stakeholders and notify leadership of any challenges to the plan
- Working closely with the internal and external teams to ensure that the projects and initiatives stay on track; communicating status and potential roadblocks to leadership.
- Helping to determine the optimal go live strategy for different projects
- Focusing on Planning, Sourcing, supporting Data Migration, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and validating test transactions for Planning Tool & SAP S4 Hanna change requests
- Working closely with BI teams to identify requirements and ensure data consistency
- Focusing on Sourcing, acting as the main point of contacts between technology and business stakeholders
- Driving the optimization of technical and business processes
- Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain
- Working closely with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on quarterly business reviews and training/capacity building (at least annually)
- Adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to expedite responsible purchasing practices as outlined in the Responsible Sourcing Policy

- Conducting ongoing assessment of project blueprints and business requirements, and identifying potential gaps or opportunities for future consideration
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify business and system process efficiencies

**Are you our next Project Specialist - Sourcing?**:
- You have 3+ years’ work experience in a planning and supply chain focused role
- You have 3+ years work experience in IBP, SAP, or equivalent system
- You have experience in developing reports for analysis and decision making
- You have prior implementation experience
- You have strong Project Management skills
- You have a drive to learn and participate
- You are an excellent collaborator while also able to work effectively with a team
- You are adaptable and forward thinking
- You have solid knowledge of ERP systems and order management processes
- You are able to step in and take charge with minimum instruction
- You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for spreadsheets
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail
- You demonstrate critical thinking skills, proactively approaching challenges with logical analysis
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions

$80,000 - $100,000 a year

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$80,000 - CAD$100,000 at the time
