**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our team as **Program Coordinator**. Reporting to the Program and Content Manager, the Program Coordinator will provide support for conference programs, enabling delivery of key events in a learning-focused organization. The Program Coordinator will be hands-on in the tactical aspects of program support, with an emphasis on speaker and volunteer coordination. The key to success in this role will include collaborating and interfacing with various fmi*igf functions, including but not limited to post sales support. **This is a full-time, permanent role.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Supports fmi*igf websites, to include regular audits, as well as, updates across both the main fmi*igf websites and event websites.
- Works closely with our external translation bureau to ensure all materials are translated in a timely manner.
- Participates in meetings with speakers and volunteer committee alongside the Program and Content manager.
- Support project plans and files for various program activities (agendas, meeting notes, timing of meetings, regular accurate updates to program plan documents).
- Support the planning, editing, production and distribution of external reports, and publications.
- Creates and maintains database of past, existing and potential volunteers, assisting in the annual volunteer recruitment campaign.
- Focus on developing a new repository for all fmi*igf speakers past and present to reference for future presenting opportunities.
- Provide back-up support to the marketing team as needed, including post-sales support for the flagship event PDWEEK.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet the mandate and evolving needs of the organization._

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary diploma preferably in Event Management, Marketing or Public Relations, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position, or relevant project management experience.
- Experience with digital media, content creation and storytelling on digital platforms. Experience using social media in a B2G environment is an asset.
- Project management experience working with B2B or B2G supporting the client experience.
- Attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to ensure that the information is complete and accurate; this is a key competency needed to succeed in the Program Coordinator role.
- Proven ability to handle and implement multiple projects with different stakeholders and is highly detail oriented with superb organizational skill.
- Ability to work methodically, has an affinity for following step-by-step processes and procedures in a structured and disciplined manner.
- Exceptional ability to respectfully communicate ideas and information both orally, and in writing, to ensure that information and messages are understood and have the desired impact.
- Organization and process management skills, and strong ability to multi-task with results-oriented mindset.
- Works well in a team environment with the ability to collaborate across an organization.
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision and efficiently under pressure.
- Commitment to customer service (internal and external).
- Ability to learn and work with new and evolving technology (e.g., virtual event platforms).
- Knowledge of the Conference/Tradeshow/Events Industry is an asset.
- Ability to travel.
- **Bilingualism in French and English is preferred.**
