Employ to Empower (ETE) is searching for an experienced Mentorship Coordinator
As ETE’s Mentorship Coordinator you will be leading our Mentorship program and will be responsible for the Mentorship program intake, matching all qualified entrepreneurs with ETE’s Mentors in Residences, providing ad hoc mentorship support and leading business workshops where appropriate.

**Organization Overview**
Employ to Empower is a Vancouver charity that empowers low-income communities to overcome barriers to employment using entrepreneurship.
Barriers can include mental or physical health challenges, disability, and recovery from addiction.
Currently, lots of amazing charities help with short term survival needs like clothing, food and housing, we at ETE are the next step, we empower people to thrive through building capacity with entrepreneurship skills training.
Since 2018, 402 people have taken our program, with an average completion rate of 87%. Our community has taught us that when people receive resources to overcome barriers, it inspires them to dream big for themselves and to empower others to unlock their potential.
We offer a 10-week Business Skills Training program that focuses on the fundamentals of building a business. During this 10-week program we provide personalized knowledge, tools, and resources around entrepreneurship to our participants. Each week we cover a different topic that our participants need to know about before launching or growing their own business. The purpose of the 10-week course is to provide support to participants in various stages of business building and creating clarity, structure, and a basic business plan.

**Salary**: $60,000
**Schedule**:Monday 9am-5pm, Tuesday 1230pm-830pm, Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-5pm
**Desired Start Date**:December 16, 2024
**Responsibilities**
- 50+ mentor entrepreneur matches by the end of the fiscal year
- Empower ETE entrepreneurs throughout the Mentorship program lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing engagement as their businesses evolve
- Lead existing volunteer community mentors throughout their engagement journey, from onboarding to facilitating introductions to program participants and regular coaching and collaboration
- Support and lead the Mentors in Residents throughout their engagement journey, from onboarding to facilitating introductions to program participants and regular coaching and collaboration
- Regularly check in with entrepreneur participants, volunteer community mentors and Mentors in Residents to provide support and ensure continued engagement
- Lead program evaluation through data collection and analysis, including program participant satisfaction and sales performance
- Collaborate with our In-House Counsellor to support entrepreneurs with personal well-being needs
**Qualifications**
- Based in Vancouver or can reliably commute into Vancouver
- Organized and has experience using CRM
- Understands the hurdles, wrong turns and excitement of starting a new business
- Embodies the mindset of continuous growth and improvement
- Receives feedback with an open mind
- Empathetic and patient
- Experience working in a small team or nonprofit considered an asset
- Fluent in English
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
