Cowan Insurance Group is looking for a **Commercial Account Assistant** to join our Team This role is reporting to the Director, Broker Services. The **Commercial Account Assistant** is part of a team responsible for providing administrative support on new and renewal accounts in partnership with the Commercial Account Representatives to ensure client retention and timely customer service. **What you will do**:

- Work closely with team to provide support on policy changes, renewals, new business, proposals, follow ups, binders, slips, finance contracts, scanning and other duties as assigned by Manager
- Prioritize work received from Commercial Account Representatives & Commercial Brokering Specialists based on request type, through proper management of inbox and follow up queue, with special attention paid to timelines on preparation of liability slips, memorandums of insurance, certificates of insurance (timelines may change based on prioritization of requests
- Become a knowledge expert on the Personal Insurance and Commercial Insurance as relates to the Condo act and coverage
- Coordinate with our Condo Team and Personal Lines Teams for Condo Tenant Coverage

**What you will bring**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- RIBO license or ability to obtain
- Personal Lines Experience an asset
- Knowledge of the Condo Act, Tenant Insurance and/or Condo Insurance would be an asset
- CIP, CAIB, CRM (or working towards designation) would be an asset
- Previous experience with Epic would be an asset
- Customer-centric, friendly and professional at all times
- Exceptional organization skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products
- Professional, responsive, and a positive work attitude is essential
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time while working independently.
- Responsible for communications and collaboration with other teams
