**Clerk - Materials**

The Clerk - Materials position is responsible for providing efficient and effective support to the Materials Department.

Powering Vehicles, Motion, Work, and Lives since 1966.

**Performance Expectations**
- Prepare and Mail/Fed Ex RFQ packages - maintain files
- Complete invoicing and bill of ladings for all international exports and domestic shipments
- Invoicing ASN’s through ERP system and Customer websites
- Invoicing through Excel spreadsheets using Proforma format for international exports and packing slips for domestic shipments
- Work with Linamar Customs for international clearances and Customs issues
- Complete Receiving of raw materials deliveries
- Receiving through ERP system and excel file
- Work with Linamar Transportation to book shipments and shunt moves
- Complete all shipping and receiving logs in excel files
- Responsible for archiving of invoices and receipts
- Relay information from Materials Coordinators to Material Handlers as per shipping changes
- Document/Form control
- Estimate by sight number of tools needed when it is time to reorder supplies, may use graphs to compare performance data over a period of time.
- Support and maintain department lean initiatives as set out in LPS system requirements
- Maintain and audit department 5S requirements

**Credentials**
- High School Diploma or equivalent general education and previous work experience.
- Ability to read lists of products, stock numbers, quantities and prices.

**Desired Characteristics**
- Able to interact with materials staff to take on various tasks and discuss changes in service policy with supervisors.
- Demonstrate strong inventory control and stock keeping capabilities
- Customer service experience
