Collaborating with the Director, P2P, you lead and mentor your team to advance LLSC’s mission, unlock employee leadership potential, amplify community outreach, boost volunteer engagement, and optimize ethical revenue generation.

**You are looking for a permanent position in Vancouver.**

In this work-from-home role, as a Fund Development Director, you'll be actively engaged with constituents in your region, attending meetings and events regularly. With over 50% of your time spent outside the office, you'll focus on coaching volunteer leaders, corporate partners, and top fundraisers to expand LLSC's revenue impact. Your responsibilities also include raising awareness about blood cancers, connecting individuals to LLSC programs, and increasing the reach of LLSC initiatives within your fundraising community.

- Develop and execute an annual operational plan to expand LLSC's impact, focusing on fundraising and partnership development.
- Personally cultivate and manage a portfolio of prospects while actively participating in acquiring executive-level fundraisers.
- Identify, recruit, and engage high-level volunteer ambassadors to bolster LLSC's fundraising efforts.
- Forge new partner opportunities to enhance LLSC's campaign support both locally and nationally.
- Utilize fundraising skills and strategies to strengthen participant relationships and advance LLSC's fundraising programs.
- Elevate LLSC's profile by fostering positive and enduring relationships within the community.

**You will be successful if you are comfortable.**
- Managing, inspiring, and engaging the revenue-generating team in BC/Yukon to recruit and motivate fundraising volunteers effectively.
- Directly coaching, mentoring, and leading staff to achieve measurable goals and key performance indicators.
- Overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and ongoing development of employees within the BC/Yukon region.
- Collaborating closely with the Director, P2P, to ensure the efficient and effective operation of your market.
- Educating corporations, vendors, potential sponsors, fundraising participants, and volunteers about LLSC's education and support programs.
- Attending and participating in health education or public education sessions and conferences for staff and volunteers.
- Actively referring and connecting members of the community to LLSC programs and services supporting people affected by blood cancers.
- Seamlessly collaborating with Regional Community Engagement Leads and integrating mission aspects into presentations.
- Supporting medical and scientific research for understanding and treating blood-related cancers.
- Conducting Mission Moments at participant, partner, and volunteer events to promote LLSC's mission.
