Norseman Structures is looking to add a Fiercely Reliable **Junior Project Manager** to our team.

The **Junior Project Manager** works with oversight from the Director, Projects, and Senior Project Managers to provide project management of Norseman Projects. A **Junior Project Manager**is responsible for the following projects: Supply Only (w/wo Technical Representative), Time and Materials, Cost Plus %, Low Risk/Complexity Supply and Installation. The JR PM portfolio will be primarily low complexity short duration projects with high volume. They will coordinate the efforts from hand-off from the Sales Department through engineering, design, manufacturing through to shipment to the client site. They coordinate the efforts of the project team to plan and execute the project on time and on budget while meeting the quality requirements of the project. They work closely with the Detailing HSEQ, Manufacturing and Shipping teams to ensure requirements are planned and executed to enable for efficient delivery of Norseman projects. They will have frequent interaction with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at different levels within the organization.

**Responsibilities of the Junior Project Manager**

Initiates and plans the project including:

- Receives hand-over of project information from Account/Sales Representative
- Compiles and engages project team members to verify scope, identify project deliverables and determine project schedule
- Establishes professional working relationships with key customer contacts Determines project procedures based on specific needs of the customer
- Establishes project communication plan and conducts regular status reviews with the project team, customer, sub-contractors and vendors.
- Works with key team members to develop the project schedule and baseline budget
- Follow’s all project related procedures within the RACI Matrix.
- As needed, engages senior report managers for support and guidance.
- Supports in project tasks of large/complex projects lead by senior project managers as requested.

Coordinates efforts to ensure engineering, procurement and manufacturing activities are initiated.

Communicates with customer contact and external stakeholders to ensure project design meets customer requirements.
- Monitors and reports on the progress of the project: Manages project change orders Monitors and controls scope ,schedule and budget, identifies variances and trends, and initiates corrective actions
- Provides project status updates to customers and Norseman management as required

Supports the CM team to ensure efficient installation at site including:

- Works with operations and traffic to schedule delivery of product to sites.
- Provides support to the construction team when they have issues on site.
- Coordinates efforts of project team to close out project including:

- Deliveries of final deliverables to the customer
- Coordinates final invoicing and payment authorizations with finance department
- Archives of project files

Participates as an integral member of the team and contributes towards the success of the Company by performing other related duties as required.

**Qualifications of the Project Coordinator**

- Minimum 1- 2 year of Project Management relevant experience
- 1+ year of experience installing steel-framed, fabric-covered buildings is an asset.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through.
- Strong, clear interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities
- Professionally competent.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is a requirement
- Engineer-In-Training or P.Eng is an asset

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Project management: 2 years (preferred)
