Reporting to the front desk supervisors, the Receptionist takes room reservations, greets clients upon arrival and during their stay, provides information about the establishment and its services as well as tourist attractions, and receives payments from clients.
- Check in the client, handle administrative formalities required by the hotel;
- Inform the client about the hotel's services and provide them with the keys to their room;
- Provide information, if necessary, about cultural, gastronomic, etc. activities offered by the city or region;
- Prepare invoices and collect payment from the client upon departure;
- Manage the real-time availability of rooms on a reservation software;
- Optimize the hotel's occupancy rate by establishing statistics on the software;
- Effectively respond to all external and internal client calls and provide correct responses;
- Provide accurate information about the hotel's services, amenities, and different types of rooms, and promote them to optimize sales;
- Adhere to established standards, norms, and procedures;
- Communicate and interact effectively in various work situations;
- Sell hotel products and services;
