We are looking for a results oriented, driven, organized, self-motivated Operations Coordinator for our Brampton Pie plant.

**Job Overview**:
The Operations coordinator provides administrative, financial and purchasing support for the Operations team in a fast paced food manufacturing environment.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**Finance and Purchasing**:
Manage indirect procurement systems and code invoices by GL, obtain appropriate bakery level approvals and submit for payment, track invoices to ensure payment and follow-up with vendor related questions

Ensure POs are appropriately processed, good receipts are signed off/recorded and invoicing approvals documented and expedited to support the procure to pay in the system;
Conduct vendor audits as necessary to help resolve all issues related to supplier non-payments;
Review Purchasing order agreements and Contracts before signed off on by the Plant Manager/designate;
Review quoting process on new products and existing ones;
Follow-up with supplies for missing; paperwork, not fulfilling contract obligations, service issues, product defects, etc.;
Process the billing of shipments;
Coordinate with AP and Corporate Procurement teams to research and resolve processing exceptions;
Liaison between Canada and US share services for processing;
Update outstanding procurement invoices that require accruing for the period and work with Corporate Finance;
Responsible for Bakery P card and Pcard reporting/reconciliation;
**Back up: Employee schedule**:
Work with Operations team on last minute production and scheduling commitments based on the Collective agreement;
**Onboarding of hourly and salary hires outside of payroll and HR Duties**:
Set up lockers, uniform orders, etc. and take photo for Workday;
Order new office equipment, if necessary for new hires;
**Attend Environmental meetings/audits**:
Coordinate Health initiatives;
Maintain contractor safety records including certificates of insurance for vendors;
Attend environmental meetings/audits, take minutes and send action items reports;
Coordinate safety boot and prescription allowance programs and make report visible to Supevisors/Managers;
**Support Office Facility**:
Order office supplies for the facility;
Update the communication board(s) with latest and relevant information including H&S information while working with HR and payroll;
Provide support to the Plant Manager, Production team as required ie. reports, presentations, letter, etc.;
Organize/ assist with organizing Bakery events, celebrations, lunches, parties, etc.;
Coordinate any luncheons for visitors and meetings at the bakery.

**All other duties as assigned**

**COMPETENCIES AND QUALICATIONS**:

- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent education.
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business/Finance or related field.
- 3-5 years of Operations & Purchasing administration experience.
- Good competency in Work, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Extremely well organized, results driven and pro-active in follow-up.
- Excellent multi-tasker that can handle pressure with ease.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential matters including information.
- Ability to interact well in plant environments.
