**Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently hiring a Quality Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Airdrie, AB facility and offers benefits from Day 1.**

**What you’ll do**:

- Under the direction of the Manager, Operational Excellence, this position is responsible to drive the successful implementation and coordination of all tasks and activities required to support and improve the Eaton Quality System (EQS) & ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).**In this function you will**:

- Provide leadership implementing the Eaton Lean Six Sigma System (ELSS) and the Eaton Quality System (EQS).
- Adhere to ISO 9001 quality procedures and work instructions and actively participate in the quality improvement process.
- Provide leadership with Eaton’s Management System for environment, health, safety and security (MESH).
- Ensure full compliance with Nuclear standards Z299/N299 and maintain certification required by Nuclear utilities
- Facilitate and support all required audits ISO 9001/CSA/UL
- Drive the continuous improvement of all aspects of the quality systems for the site.
- Develop, deploy and conduct quality system training, as required.
- Collect, analyze and publish applicable quality data/metrics.
- Manage the internal quality audit programs.
- Liaison with external regulatory, advisory and certification bodies.
- Co-ordinate and follow-up on all quality corrective/preventative actions.
- Prepare Management System reviews.
- Ensure the integrity of the manufacturing test and inspection processes, including calibration.
- Take overall ownership of all QMS documentation and effective operation of the document control process, Warranty and Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process.
- Ensure the maintenance and integrity of MSA, Capability Studies, PFMEA and Control Plans.
- Ensure active participation, as required, in Root Cause Analysis & Error Proofing for line stoppage issues.
- Champion Error Proofing activities for the facility.
- Operate, in conjunction with the Materials team, an effective non-conformance/supplier quality process (WISPER).
- Ensure facility wide adherence to the requirements of the Eaton Quality System (EQS) and ISO 9001 Quality Management System as detailed in procedures and work instructions.
- Perform other duties, as required

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the implementation and operation of an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Experience using Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- ISO Auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Master’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
- Agile development experience.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

**Skills**:

- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced/changing environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and project management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing processes and Six Sigma tools preferred.
