**Description**:
Reporting to the Senior Business Partner - Human Resources, the incumbent of the Business Partner - Human Resources position is responsible for providing guidance, coaching and necessary support to fulfil the client group mandates entrusted to them. The incumbent acts as a partner to managers by providing HR advice, solutions and services adapted to the City’s issues and challenges while being aligned with the strategic vision.

To provide departments with leadership in order to guarantee a quality workforce and offer a healthy, stimulating, and safe work environment, while ensuring equity and respect for others and maintaining excellence in our practices.

**General responsibilities and goals**:
**The incumbent’s main responsibilities are as follows**:

- Participate in the preparation of files to be submitted to various authorities and committees, such as CNESST, TAT, occupational health and safety committees, grievance and labor relations committees, etc.
- Develop action plans and propose awareness tools for the prevention of work-related accidents for managers to help them fulfil their responsibilities.
- Accompany managers in the process of maintaining a healthy work environment.
- Establish a proactive and flexible business relationship with managers to understand their issues and challenges.
- Perform analysis and recommend strategies, operating methods and corrective measures to address the issues raised.
- Monitor the projects under their responsibility and ensure delivery of the projects according to the established deadlines.
- Perform all other related tasks.

**Job requirements**:
The incumbent must have a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, industrial relations or another relevant field. The incumbent must preferably be a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA). A minimum of three to five years of experience in a similar position is mandatory. The position requires a good knowledge of French and English to carry on a conversation, lead a workshop, participate in a work meeting, and write short texts or internal reports. The incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of adaptability, autonomy and team spirit.
