**Role Summary**:
This person will report directly to the CEO and will be primarily responsible for the management of all the logistics associated with importing and exporting Fathom products. In the role of Logistics Manager, you will be joining a world-class team that is the seafood industry.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of seasonality, logistics trends
- Evaluate and determine best strategies for storage and shipment of product
- Establishing and developing relationships with various carriers
- Explore alternative options for transportation and storage
- Booking transportation for purchasing and sales teams including negotiating rates
- Managing port handling and transportation for import purchases
- Ensuring shipments are delivered on time and in full
**You are**:
- Equipped with 5+ years of experience working in a logistics related rale
- A highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative
- Well organized and invested in the details
- Resourceful when it comes to solving problems
- Relentless in pursuit of customer satisfaction
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing environments
- Persuasive and good at negotiating
- Collaborative
