Restaurant Cook for Ottawa Airport

**Experience Required**:6 Months in any restaurant.
We have **two shifts** available:
**Early Shift**: 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM (7 positions available)
**Late Shift**: 12:00 PM to Closing (8 positions available)
"These shifts will start from **Monday (Oct 16)** onwards."
The **pay rates** are as follows:
- From 4 AM to 7 AM**:$20 per hour** (no cash).
- After 7 AM**:$19 per hour** (no cash)."
Individuals residing in Canada for less than five years or those who are not Canadian born are required to provide a **Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) **for this position.
**Duties**:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding food preparation and handling
**Skills**:
- Proven experience as a cook in a food service or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
