RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
We are seeking a part-time occasional research coordinator with experience in pediatric qualitative research. The incumbent will be involved in completing a qualitative study. The projects will be conducted across several sites, including the Research Institute of the MUHC and McGill University.

General Duties
- Assist in the planning and organization of research projects,
- Assist in writing study protocols,
- Manage the procedures with the Research Ethics Board and Contracts Office (e.g. protocol approvals, amendments and annual renewals),
- Collaborate with physicians, clinic staff and research team,
- Recruit/consent research participants,
- Collect data qualitative and quantitative,
- Analysis of qualitative data,
- Monitor study progress to ensure completeness and accuracy of data collected,
- Reviewing the literature (including systematic reviews and meta-analysis),
- Assist in knowledge translation activities.

Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s (asset) in related field of study,
- Previous work experience in clinical research is essential,
- Previous experience with qualitative research is essential,
- Strong communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written) is essential,
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work independently and in a team,
- Ability to multitask,
- Previous experience with RI-MUHC is an asset,
- Previous experience with working with multicultural communities is a essential,
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and qualitative software (Word, Excel, NVivo).

Additional information

**Status**: Temporary, part-time occasional (between 0 and 21 hours per week, however 8 hours per week will be likely)

**Pay Scale**: $23,22/hour to $43,11/hour, according to education and work experience

**Work Shift**: occasional

**Work Site**: Montreal Children’s Hospital, CORE research office (5252 de Maisonneuve O.), McGill University, and remote
