TC Transcontinental Printing, the Printing Sector of TC Transcontinental (TSX: TCL.A TCL.B), is the largest printer in Canada and one of the largest in North America. This sector has over 4,300 associates and possesses a network of 16 state-of-the-art plants.

**About this opportunity**

This position is located in Vaughan ON, bordering Peel and Etobicoke.

**What you will do**

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Partner with the HR Team and hiring managers on full-cycle recruitment, this may include; initial intake meeting, job postings, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, background and reference checks, as well as creation of offer letters.
- Support with new hire onboarding and orientation, such as; delivering general onboarding correspondence, collecting onboarding documentation, and participating in new hire orientation meeting, preparing employee files etc.
- Assist in the coordination of employee benefit programs, including; group health benefits, employee engagement, recognition awards, as well as year-end events, milestone and holiday parties etc.
- Participate and contribute to the health and safety program and initiatives.
- Respond to general staff inquires surrounding HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with HR administrative duties, such as; drafting letters of employment and maintenance of hardcopy & soft copies of employee documentation.
- Assist in payroll
- Prepare various MIS reports as required
- Research and contribute new ideas on best-practices for new and existing programs.
- Support the HR Team and other assignments as directed by HR Manager.
- Recognized and accredited post-secondary institution co-op/internship program, with a focus on Human Resources.
- General knowledge of ESA, WSIB, HR theories, best practices, legislation and HR resources
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise tact with sensitive material and information
- Highly organized, able to juggle competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
- Payroll experience will be an asset.
- Willingness to learn.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only
