Sunnybrook is seeking a project manager to support essential high profile security infrastructure upgrades at all of the Sunnybrook campuses. The project manager role will be three-years in duration and it will participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle.

The role will report to the Vice President, Quality, Risk Performance and Patient Experience and will work in close partnership with the Manager of Security Services and with a corporate Project Manager in Information Technology. We are looking for an experienced project manager that has demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure projects.

The position will focus on supporting three major projects to enhance our security infrastructure. These three projects include:

- The upgrading of our access control system from Keyscan Vantage to Keyscan Aurora
- An assessment of our video monitoring infrastructure to identify opportunities to enhance Sunnybrook’s ability to monitor our campuses and to upgrade equipment and network infrastructure. Following the assessment, the Project Manager will partner with Sunnybrook’s Information Technology team to implement a plan to deliver on opportunities identified.
- The upgrade and expansion of our panic duress system through the deployment of Sunnybrook’s real-time locating system (RTLS).

**Summary of the role**:
Project Management:

- Co-develop and manage components of complex project plans (defining plans with clear objectives and timelines)
- Lead multiple work streams across multiple projects
- Identify, mitigate, and appropriately escalate project risks to ensure project success
- Report / monitor deliverables, timelines across multiple work streams (including SLT / ELT updates)
- Prepare concise cost estimates as required for each project
- Work with the Corporate Project Manager in IT to coordinate activities with internal Sunnybrook Information Technology and Corporate Planning and Development as necessary

Change Management and System Management:

- Ensure accurate documentation of security infrastructure is developed and maintained across projects
- Develop and manage the process for maintenance of security hardware including the servers
- Manage change requests associated with the projects
- Lead the development of procedures to streamline security access
- Partnering with Information Technology and multiple vendors to integrated workflow across security systems

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- PMP certification
- 3 years of experience leading large infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of video monitoring, access control and panic duress security systems is an asset
- Superior time management, organization and prioritization skills in addressing multiple tasks and timelines
- Demonstrated competence in operating effectively as a member of a high-functioning team with mínimal direction
- Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
