**About Our Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director, Audit and Enforcement, you will develop, plan, implement, and manage the enforcement and compliance program under the Petroleum Products Pricing Act, the Energy Rebate Program, the Tobacco Access Act, and the Revenue Act (for fuel, tobacco, and sales taxes).

**Primary Accountabilities**:
In this position, you will build and maintain collaborative partnerships with law enforcement agencies, public prosecutions services and other provincial/federal tax agencies. Other responsibilities include:

- providing direction, training, and supervision to the compliance staff.
- developing and implementing an annual risk-based enforcement plan.
- developing, maintaining, and implementing appropriate inspections and investigations strategies and programs that minimizes tax leakage and addresses areas of non-compliance.

**About You**:
In addition, you must possess the following skills/competencies:

- ability to develop and maintain partnerships, and to lead teams.
- a keen awareness of officer safety concerns and property management processes.
- strong problem resolution and analytical skills.
- ability to work well under pressure.
- excellent interactive communications skills (particularly strong observation skills).
- intercultural and diversity proficiency.
- ability to make difficult decisions, and to balance conflicting priorities.

The following would be viewed as assets:

- Experience with investigations and/or surveillance, in overseeing undercover operations, and in preparing/reviewing search warrants.
- A working knowledge of relevant acts and regulations.
- Bilingualism (English and French).
