**Role description**:
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Resilience Oil and Gas team in Canada. Arcadis Canada is quickly growing in the Oil and Gas sector which has opened this opportunity for someone ready to take the next step from environmental field technician to environmental project coordinator supporting the field teams and Project Managers. **Role accountabilities**:
The Project Coordinator will collaborate with our Strategic Environmental Remediation Consultants and Construction Services team. The Project Coordinator will work along side our Project Managers and field teams working on Contaminated Sites, Site Remediation and help with the coordination and management of environmental site assessment including Phase I ESA’s, Phase II ESA’s, and risk assessments. Maintaining knowledge and familiarity with provincial and federal regulatory frameworks, providing diligent interpretation of environmental data, managing the comparison of sample results to applicable standards/guidelines will be a key responsibility of this role.
Key Skills:
- Working knowledge and experience in environmental compliance and associated guidelines/legislation for provincial and federal requirements including CCME.
- Experience working at contaminated sites such as: refineries/bulk plants/gas stations, commercial processing plants, federal government properties, airports, mines, power plants, wind farms and solar facilities preferred.
- Experience working for clients in industrial, development, and federal and provincial government sectors preferred.

- Environmental Technician/Technologist Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field
