**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Course Outline and Learning Outcomes: Craft a comprehensive course outline, clearly articulating the course's learning objectives, goals, and desired outcomes. Ensure that the course aligns with the institution's EDI mission and educational standards.
- Course Plan (Syllabus): Develop a course plan or syllabus that provides a structured framework for the entire course. The syllabus should include essential information such as course schedule, reading assignments, assessment dates, and guidelines for participation.
- Assessments: Create a range of meaningful assessments that effectively evaluate student learning and achievement of course objectives. Assessments should encompass diverse formats, including written assignments, projects, group activities, and presentations, fostering a comprehensive understanding of EDI concepts.
- Marking Rubrics: Establish clear and transparent marking rubrics that guide the assessment process and enable consistent and fair evaluation of student work. The rubrics should align with course objectives and provide constructive feedback to learners.

This role provides an exceptional opportunity to shape the EDI curriculum, fostering an environment where students can develop a deep understanding of EDI principles and practices, and inspiring positive change in their communities and beyond.

**About the Position**:
This is a temporary part-time support staff Bargaining Unit position, reporting to the Dean, School of Business, English & Liberal Studies at a rate of $34.77/HR.

This project would require work to be done over the course of several months and usually can be done in the evenings or on weekends while continuing with your current full-time job. All meetings and training will be conducted virtually.

Training will be provided, and standard templates will be used.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelors degree in a related field, with a Masters Degree preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts
