Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Assurance and Accounting team. As a trusted advisor, you will provide comprehensive financial information to clients, enabling them to make informed decisions with confidence.
About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position that requires a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will be responsible for conducting compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping, and tax engagements, as well as managing multiple client files simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Manage client relationships, providing exceptional service and guidance on financial matters.
- Develop and implement accounting systems, processes, and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present technical reports, client summaries, and presentations outlining engagement findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring to support their professional development.
- Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the growth of the team.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with expertise in assurance services.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
What We Offer
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
