Founded in 1958, Pipe & Piling Supplies Ltd. is a major producer and supplier of steel pipe, with over 10 branches across Canada and the United States, we are one of the largest distributors of steel piling in Canada.

**Position Description**

**Position Responsibilities**
- Create, prepare, and present month end financial reporting.
- Create, prepare, and maintain monthly compliance reporting.
- Prepare forecasts, identify variances & develop corrective actions.
- Maintain the integrity and timeliness of the underlying accounting records.
- Liaison with Operations and analyze financial results to find improvements.
- Perform required month end reconciliations and prepare corresponding documentation for approval and processing.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and accounting controls for their region.
- Ensure positive continuous improvement to the accounting and reporting function and associated processes.
- Ensure that financial and accounting policies and programs are followed in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- All other duties and projects as assigned by the controller

**Qualifications**
- 5 - 7 years experience in financial reporting and analysis or similar controlling position.
- University or College Degree.
- Strong communication skills in French and English (both verbal and written).
- Advanced Experience with accounting software. Sage 50 and Sage 300 required.
- Flexibility and willingness to work simultaneously on a wide range of tasks and projects.
- Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with coworkers.

**Salary**: $75,339.67-$123,647.80 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
