**Who are we?**

WAAS Aerospace Inc. has been in business since 2014 and is a Transport Canada approved maintenance company. We operate from facilities located on the south shore of Montreal at Saint-Hubert Airport (CYHU) and in Quebec City at Jean-Lesage International Airport (CYQB).

We provide line and scheduled maintenance, avionics modifications and research and development services for business and wide-body aircraft. We offer 24/7 Aircraft on Ground (AOG) services to help customers meet their on-time departure obligations and minimise downtime.

Our parent company, Chrono Aviation, was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the company operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Today, the Chrono Aviation group has a fleet of 15 aircraft and a team of 280 employees.

**Role and context**

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Control Representative is responsible for ensuring that the maintenance services provided to our customers comply with the standards and procedures set out in the company's maintenance policy manual and that of the customer.

**Key responsibilities**
- Review completed work orders, identify corrective actions and monitor progress
- Collaborate in the development of corrective action plans to address the root causes of quality deficiencies and monitor their effectiveness.
- Participating in the implementation of a digital quality assurance system

**Key skills**
- Experience in aircraft maintenance and/or quality control
- Knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)
- Autonomy
- Solution-focused
- Sense of initiative
- Organisational skills
- Attention to detail

**Specific job requirements**
- Post-secondary training in aeronautics is desirable, but substantial relevant experience in the field may be considered a valid substitute for academic training.
- Fluency in French is required for this position. A thorough knowledge of English is also required in order to interact with English-speaking customers and suppliers in Canada and elsewhere in the world.
