Cahill Electric Inc. is an electrical contracting business located in Hamilton, ON. Our company has been in business for 42 years and works primarily in the I.C.I. markets. We are currently looking to hire a junior or entry level project manager to join our company.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- Attend meetings with estimating, management, and supervisors prior to the commencement of projects to understand job-specific details, such overall scope of work, financial parameters, partnerships with subcontractors, complexities, challenges, scheduling, and budgets etc.
- Manage the review and submittal of shop drawings, RFIs, project schedules, permits etc.
- Execute project management administrative activities such as material and equipment releases; scheduling of subcontractors; managing of invoices, change orders, and site documentation; issuance of purchase orders and project closeouts.
- Liaise between the company and project clients.
- Attend weekly office meetings to provide project updates to management, including discussion on project-specific progress, overall status, challenges, and to review manpower and other resource requirements.
- Attend site meetings as required.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Post secondary education or related experience.
- Project Management Certificate or currently enrolled in such a program would be an asset.
- Experience in construction or electrical construction is an asset.
- 1-2 years’ project coordinator experience.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Procore and Accubid experience is an asset, but we are willing to train.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is an asset.
- Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- G Class Driver’s Licence and access to a personal vehicle.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
