**ABOUT THE JOB**

The Inside Sales Representative (IT) is responsible for qualifying and generating new sales leads, and to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources, such as inbound marketing leads and prospect lists to ensure target quotas are achieved.

**RESPONSABILITIES**
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls.
- Follow up on and qualify leads, then route opportunities to the appropriate sales executive for further development and closure.
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by actively listening to and understanding their needs and requirements.
- Utilize prospecting tools to systematically identify potential business.
- Communicate our message clearly about how we add value to businesses.
- Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and grow the sales pipeline and execution of campaigns.
- Focus on qualifying leads that are then passed to our sales team.
- Make dozens of calls per day to qualify prospects and discuss how they can add value to their business with our software solutions and services.
- Effective time management to maximize quantity without sacrificing quality.
- Contribute to the growth of the department by seeking new sales opportunity.
- Work in partnership with Account Managers to ensure hitting sales targets.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1-3 years telemarketing and/or inside sales in IT experience is necessary.
- Experience with CRM and/or As400 environment is required. Salesforce knowledge is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
- Experience utilizing prospecting tools including LinkedIn.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined activity quotas.
- A proven track record of strong communications and building client relationships.
- Strong proven ability to prospect, develop a rich pipeline and generate opportunity.
- Knowledge of AS/400 and IBM i systems an asset.
- Knowledge of Cloud or SaaS solutions an asset.
