Do you have expertise in workplace safety and health, and demonstrated experience leading safe work programs in multiple locations? Project Management is your strength? Our Manager, Safety and Facilities Services is a role that is critical to the creation and maintenance of safe work programs and supporting the Director, Operations with the day-to-day oversite of all ROBINSON facilities.

The Manager, Safety and Facilities Services will support the following activities:

- Leads the implementation and development of Health and Safety Policies, Job Hazard Analysis, Safe Operating Procedures, and Training Programs ensuring compliance with relevant legislation to reduce related risks
- Tracks and analyzes accident and injury data, identifying and implementing new or modified safety practices as needed
- Lead facilities contractors/vendors, monitoring service level agreements, requirements and deliverables, managing payment and documentation
- Act as point of contact for ROBINSON facilities, property management/ landlords to coordinate facilities management activities and ensure company needs are met
- Ensures preventative, regular, and emergency maintenance activities within our properties are completed and compliant to any regulatory codes
- Supports the planning and coordination of new branches and/or relocation/renovation activity; meets with relevant vendors and contractors as required
- Procures and arranges contractors for services as required (plumbing, HVAC, electrical. building controls, security systems)
- Advises managers on annual capital facility plans and budgets
- Conducts annual building health assessments and develops remediation plans

**Role Requirements**:

- At least 5 years' experience overseeing and developing corporate safety initiatives
- Relevant Post Secondary education in a related field required
- In depth knowledge of provincial health and safety requirements, standards and best practices
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage large scale projects and vendors
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time and overnight. Valid driver's license and possession of own vehicle to travel between locations.
