Saskatoon, Canada Western Development Museum Full time

The WDM Saskatoon is seeking a **Maintenance Technician** to ensure the Museum's facilities, rental and kitchen spaces, office spaces, equipment and grounds are maintained to a high standard. This position is also responsible for supporting the daily care and upkeep of the buildings, vehicles and equipment including making repairs as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensures the WDM’s building, and grounds are maintained through regular inspection and maintenance schedules.
- Acts as back up and support for operating and maintaining the building’s boilers and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoots and at times repairs issues with plumbing, lighting, heating, refrigeration and electrical systems.
- Undertakes general upkeep of the building’s structures, including supporting cleaning where needed.
- Performs small construction or renovation projects in facility areas and office spaces as needed.
- Properly documents and reports on day-to-day maintenance and repairs, as well as any safety issues.
- Performs closing opening and closing procedures for the Museum as scheduled.
- Plans and prioritizes work in consultation with the Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor and custodial team to complete a range of assignments.

Pay: $44,957.00-$52,126.00 per year
