**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

Benchmark International, an Edmonton-based manufacturer with a proud 25-year history, is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Management team. Our company specializes in the production of gas separation equipment and environmental monitoring equipment, serving customers worldwide. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the inbound and outbound transportation of goods to ensure timely delivery for our in-house production teams and our external customers.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Supervisor of Business Services, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the transportation and movement of materials, components, and finished goods to and from our manufacturing facility. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation providers to coordinate and optimize logistics operations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring on-time delivery, minimizing costs, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

These are the types of things you can expect to be involved with on a daily basis:

- Managing the inbound and outbound domestic and international transportation of materials, components, and finished goods.
- Generate and prepare appropriate shipping documentation to provide to shipping.
- Coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery and efficient logistics operations.
- Coordinating with customs brokers and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and requirements.
- Planning and scheduling shipments to optimize transportation routes, minimize costs, and meet customer requirements.
- Monitoring and tracking shipments to provide real-time updates and resolve any issues or delays.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, including shipping records, bills of lading, and customs documents.
- Collaborating with the purchasing team to coordinate material availability and manage inventory levels.
- Communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, production, and customer service, to align logistics activities with production and customer needs.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies within the logistics function.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of transportation and customs requirements.

- Assisting with Shipping Receiving or Inventory Control as needed for backup.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
