The Clerk Supply Chain Operations performs a variety of stores duties relating to the receipt, storage and dispersal of files and items stored in the BCCA warehouse and supply chain operations.

**What you’ll do**
- Files and retrieves a variety of records including health records charts, diagnostic imaging films, cytology slides, pathology slides and reports, histology wax blocks, and finance, purchasing, cancer registry and stores records. Signs in and/or signs out records, files, films and slides that have been removed or returned to and/or from storage.
- Receives, distributes and stores supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory records, and enters stock receipts and withdrawals into computer. Edits and resolves discrepancies of inventory information according to established procedures. Communicates with suppliers regarding shortages, damages and returns as required.
- Notes inventory shortages and refer inventory level problems to the warehouse supervisor. Assembles, issues and delivers supplies/stock items on a top-up or requisition basis, and completes appropriate documentation by checking stock levels against predetermined quotas, adding stock as needed and recording addition.
- Performs periodic physical counts of inventory items as required.
- Takes and processes requests received via telephone or facsimile for records, reports and supplies required from storage.
- Prepares shipments of materials such as reports, films, slides and bulk items for transport.
- Arranges for courier shipments by contacting the courier, completing waybills and recording information. Signs in and logs incoming courier deliveries. Packages items for shipping when required.
- Keeps requesting departments informed of problems such as charts or records that are not available, or the inability to meet deadlines, and performs related follow-up. Where necessary, refers problems to the warehouse supervisor for follow-up.
- Arranges for the removal and destruction of specific items when requested, following established procedures.
- Performs clerical duties, such as filing, answering the phone, photocopying, entering spreadsheets, generating reports and providing customer service
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 plus one (1) year recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
