We are currently seeking an experienced **Team Lead Line Technician** to join our operations in a **permanent**, **full-time** position.

The **Team Lead Line Technician** supervises line crews and plays a crucial role in various aspects of outside plant construction, including Fibre Optics, Copper, and RF Coax. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.

This role requires **willingness to travel**, work a minimum of 40 hours per week, and have a **valid DZ driver’s license. **While on the road, we prioritize your comfort by providing daily per diem and accommodations paid for by the company.
- Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures;
- Operate vehicle-mounted aerial device equipment - experience with cable placers is an asset;
- Placement of stands and cable - use of all tools and equipment necessary to complete work;
- Load and unload equipment and cable trailers;
- Outside Plant (OSP) line construction with coax, strand, copper and fibre cables;
- Perform testing and troubleshooting, if required;
- Drive and operate Line Truck.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail;
- Able to proficiently read, interpret, and implement engineered construction plans
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, confined spaces, isolation;
- Ability to work construction in a physically demanding atmosphere including, but is not limited to: carry, raise and climb a ladder, carry, lift and handle heavy equipment (manhole covers, cable reels);
- Self-disciplined, motivated, organized, and a team player;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (Class DZ), airbrakes or willing to obtain Airbrakes endorsement;
- Reasonable driver abstract;
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on emergency call outs as required;
- Ability to travel (Company provides paid accommodations and a daily per-diem when travelling);
- Experience Required
- 1+ years of Team Lead Line Technician or line related experience in a telecommunications environment;
- Technical training or line training/certification considered an asset;
