Quality Assurance Manager

Overall responsibility for the Quality performance of the QA Department. The QA Manager works cross-functionally with Plant Manager to successfully deliver on accountabilities and key objectives. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: 1. Overall compliance to Food Safety and Quality System Program 2. Responsible for BRC’s Global Standard for Food Safety program and HACCP 3. Implement and maintain BRC’s Global Standard for Food Safety program 4. Responsible for developing and implementing food safety programs 5. Training of employee for Food Safety and Quality program on scheduled basis 6. Delegates food safety compliance responsibility to the Supervisors and Plant employees. 7. Responsible for all micro testing samples and schedules. 8. Ensuring food safety and quality of all products and maintaining plant efficiency (ie: following recopies, mínimal waste and preventative maintenance) 9. Provide guidance and technical support to ensure product meets quality and product safety specifications. 10. Monitoring employee behavior for GMP’s and employee safety. 11. On-line monitoring for Critical Control Point - metal detector. 12. Be part of the Food Defence and Recall Teams 13. Conduct and coordinate in-house audits and review results and develop action plans. 14. Documentation, Reports, verification of Quality documents. 15. Actively involved during audit and corrective action follow-up 16. Monitor quality performance and establish plans to improve. 17. Coordinate and direct the plant Sanitation Program and pest control program 18. Completing Production Completion Form 19. Perform operational inspection
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
