Financial Operations Specialist

The Financial Operations Specialist role at Moment Energy is crucial in maintaining and strengthening the company's financial foundation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, adhering to accounting principles, and providing timely financial insights to inform business decisions.
Your primary responsibilities include managing financial transactions, classifying expenses and income, and maintaining the general ledger. By performing bank reconciliations, managing accounts receivable and payable, and processing payroll, you will contribute significantly to the overall financial stability of Moment Energy.
Key deliverables include generating detailed financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, to provide valuable insights into the company's financial performance. You will also play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing for audits, and supporting tax-related activities.
Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to gather information and maintain the accuracy of financial data. Your role is critical in facilitating informed decision-making processes by providing timely and reliable financial information to management.
The Financial Operations Specialist at Moment Energy reports directly to the VP of Finance and Accounting and is instrumental in supporting the organization's growth and success while upholding the highest standards of financial accuracy and integrity.

- A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
- 3 weeks paid vacation plus 1 week off between Christmas and New Year's
