This role is based in our Oakville office and reports to the Director, Strategic Sourcing.

**Job Purpose**
The strategic sourcing analyst will work as part of a team to manage the data collection, data analysis, and reporting activities for the IPEX Strategic Sourcing organization. This position will work to develop data collection strategies by spend category and compile business-critical information into a usable, presentable format using the ERP and other systems. Most importantly, the analyst will draw inferences from the analysis to aid the Category Managers in the development of a sourcing strategy and in problem-solving

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Developing, maintaining, and automating detailed reports
- Manage the process of collecting and communicating market information for all purchased direct materials and report observations and impacts
- Lead the process for investigating and analyzing variances by liaising monthly with Financial Controllers / Financial analysts.
- Provide analytical support to Category Managers on specific projects
- Support Indirect, Packaging and CapEx on projects
- Maintain contracts in SAP
- Ownership of Procurement Variance reporting - investigate, analyze and develop resolution strategies on price variances to budget on key raw materials & components
- Key owner in the preparation of the annual budget and re-forecasts for all raw materials, including spend analysis and highly detailed resin and additive budget
- Lead support activities to Strategic Sourcing group through the use of Bravo or other business intelligence tool
- Take ownership of the development, maintenance, and automation of monthly KPI reports for each procurement category
- Develop, maintain, and manage specific Purchasing month-end reporting
- Design and implement a process for a three - six-month rolling forecast.
- Key point person in North America for Global initiatives related to Sourcing / Procurement

**Requirements**:
**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Post Secondary Education
- 3 - 5 years experience in an analytical role preferably in the Supply Chain field
- Strong MS Office skills
- Strong communication skills
