**Administrative Assistant**

Start Date: May 23, 2023

Shift Requirements: Office Hours, at least 3 days a week

Themis Security is looking to fill a position - Administrative Assistant. This position is based in our office in Victoria and will be responsible for assisting in tasks associated with a fast-growing professional company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day office operations including managing suppliers/vendors, ordering, reception (answering phone, postal/courier services, greet visitors), as well as coordinating with various vendors and suppliers.
- Provide executive assistant support to our management and other team members.
- Provide administrative support for our projects and contracts, including, document control, purchase orders, and project initiation and archiving.
- Support administration of software services, communication devices and IT. Tasks include event planning, updating and writing documents (Microsoft Word, PDF), summarizing data or update tracking (Microsoft Excel or other systems), and trouble shooting or implementing technology.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of office administration, office coordination, executive assistance, or contract administration experience preferably in a consulting or professional environment.
- Position is based in our office in Victoria; able to be in the office minimum of 3 days a week - to be negotiated.
- Excellent verbal communication - e.g., can coordinate with our staff in a friendly and professional style.
- Excellent written communication
- Organized, good time management and multi-tasking skills - e.g., can keep our team organized.
- Ability to use cloud-based office systems with an aptitude for learning new technology
- Ability to use office equipment such as phone system, copier machine, video conferencing technology and strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- May have a degree in business administration or equivalent and may be a Project Management

Professional or a Supply Chain Management Professional.
- Valid BC driver’s license preferred but not necessary to apply.

**Job Type**: Part-time or Full-time

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
