Job Responsibilities
- **Project Planning and Initiation**:

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- **Resource Management**:

- Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Manage procurement processes for materials and services.
- **Scheduling and Timelines**:

- Develop detailed project schedules and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
- **Budget Management**:

- Prepare and manage project budgets.
- Track expenses and implement cost-control measures.
- Approve expenditures and negotiate contracts.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure construction work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Address any quality issues promptly.
- **Safety Management**:

- Implement and enforce safety protocols.
- Conduct safety training for site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- **Contract Management**:

- Prepare, review, and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Resolve any contractual disputes.
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication among project team members.
- Prepare and present progress reports.
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and address risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are advantageous.
- **Experience**:

- Several years of experience in civil engineering or construction management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale civil projects.
- **Skills**:

- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- **Technical Knowledge**:

- Understanding of engineering principles and construction practices.
- Familiarity with CAD software and other design tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Working Conditions
- Primarily based on construction sites, with some office work.
- May involve travel to various project locations.
- Work hours can vary, often requiring overtime to meet project deadlines.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $110,000.00-$137,471.38 per year
