**TITLE: SEASONAL Driver**

**REPORTS TO: Whitehorse Client Relations Base Manager and Assistant Client Relations Base Manager**

**LOCATION: Whitehorse, YT**

**STATUS: SEASONAL; Monday - Friday, 0700 - 1500 (flex)**

**RATE: $23.11 to $25.00 hourly.**

**START DATE: May 1, 2023**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
As part of the Alkan Air team, you will be responsible for providing support to the operations department through a wide variety of tasks and duties including greeting customers, driving customers to and from Alkan, as well as picking up required supplies as requested. Driver requires a high level of safety and care as they would be involved in communicating any changes to rides to the Operations Department as well as, coordinating drop off and pick ups as required. Additionally, driver may be requested to assist the operations department in tidying, labelling freight, or other operation-based tasks.

**Job-Specific Duties**:
**PRIMARY DUTIES**
- Transport clientele to and from Alkan Air using the company van as needed.
- Communicate with the Operations department on current needs.
- Pick up supplies or freight as requested.
- Work with the Executive Assistant to ensure weekly shopping is completed and distributed between all departments.

**ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUIRED**
- Other duties as assigned by Management/Supervisor
- Tidy common passenger area

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Engaging and customer centric attitude
- Arrives to work in a timely manner and is dependable
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and maintain strong customer service skills.
- Self starter requiring mínimal direction to start and complete tasks
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in high pressure and time sensitive situations
- Professional, polite and personable approach to dealing with clients, guests and fellow employees
- Self-motivated with a solutions-focused approach to challenges and opportunities
- Customer service orientated with a strong commitment to providing excellent service
- Adapts to changing conditions and shows a willingness to help others in various departments
- Class 5 or higher license.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- 25 years, or older, as per the insurance requirements.
