**Role description**:
The Operator will install, maintain, repair, modify, troubleshoot and service plant operations machinery and equipment including pumps, valves, filters, motors, water meters, tanks, reservoirs, feeders, and online analyzers; change lubrications.

Experience with installation, servicing and repair of water and wastewater treatment equipment including pumps, pressure tanks softeners, specialty ion exchange filters, GAC filters, cartridges, UV, and chlorination systems is required.

**Role accountabilities**:
Other responsibilities include:

- Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment and systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Key Requirements:

- Ability to work flexible hours and be on call for service calls and/or emergencies. Must be willing to travel - 95% travel.
- Must valid drivers license in Ontario with ability to travel to each plant.
- Travel for work will be compensated.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- 1 year experience preferred OIT or eligibility for OIT

Key Skills:
Experience with different types of wastewater systems is considered an asset
Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
