Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Provisioning,the AOG Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery process to ensure swift and efficient resolution to parts and tooling requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, parts suppliers, and other stakeholders to expedite orders.- Make critical decisions regarding repair options, parts sourcing, and alternative solutions.- Supervise and mentor AOG coordinators.- Provide guidance and training to team members.- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.- Implement and maintain AOG procedures and protocols.- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AOG response efficiency.- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.- Establish and manage relationships with parts suppliers, maintenance vendors, and other external partners.- Support in creation, issuance, execution and monitoring of policies & procedures.- Monitor workforce level and adjust as required.- Responsible for time keeping and overtime approvals.- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.- Actively participating in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Post-Secondary education in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years experience in TechOps procurement role
- Previous experience in the aviation industry required
- Previous experience in a supervisory/leadership role required
- Previous experience in a procurement role required
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
- Effective analytical and presentation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with AMOS an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
