Account Coordinator

We’re a social media, public relations, and events agency that's looking to add a full-time Account Coordinator to our Vancouver team. This role is a hybrid position, with two days required in-office per week. Daily responsibilities include managing social media, influencer partnerships, and public relations.
We're looking for a highly organized person who is eager to learn, collaborate, and grow in their position. A love for dogs and oat milk lattes is also a bonus but not required.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Assist public relations and social media strategy for 4-6 accounts at any given time
- Meet and communicate with clients in a professional and punctual manner
- Create shot lists and work with the Creative team to execute content
- Proactively stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technology in all aspects of your responsibilities
**Social Media Marketing**
- Manage all social media initiatives on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including posting, scheduling, and follower building
- Coordinate influencer partnerships, both paid and organic
- Assist in social media advertising campaigns
- Assist in writing editorial calendars for clients when required
- Write blogs and thought leadership articles
**Public Relations**
- Assist in the development of press releases, pitches, and press kits
- Assist in media relations; build and maintain relationships with writers, editors, influencers, bloggers, and producers
- Create and maintain media and influencer lists
- Assist in organizing and managing events
**Expectations**:
- Amend and edit any content requests from the Client or Vive management
- Respond to client inquiries in a professional, timely manner
- Support team projects and colleagues if and when needed
- Undertake tasks as assigned
- Work independently as well as in-person, attending our office Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8am to 4pm, and on-site for client shoots/events when needed
- Treat colleagues, clients, contractors and Vive affiliates in a professional, respectful manner
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, with previous agency experience preferred
- An understanding of the Canadian media landscape
- A strong understanding of how to use all social media platforms
- Copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills
