**Position Title**: Relief Sales Representative
**Location**: Saanichton, BC, V8M 1Z7

**Job Type**: Full Time Permanent
**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Sales Manager or designate, the Relief Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with various clients while sales representatives are on leave/vacation.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing Vacation and leave coverage for all Food Service and Retail Sales Representatives in all territories on Vancouver Island.
- Providing sales support for all Sales Representatives in all territories on Vancouver Island.
- Support and assist in creation, promotion and distribution of corporate, weekly, and monthly flyers.
- Weekly collection of account balances from customers (distributing statements, credits, and ensuring all invoices are paid according to terms).
- Attend regular sales meetings either virtually or in person and annual conference.
- Understanding market conditions, product innovations and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 1 year progressive sales experience in a similar sized operation; a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered.
- 1 to 3 years of related protein industry experience would be considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
- Ability to work comfortably on computers.
- Self-motivated and able to work in, and outside of an office setting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
